Eastwood Cyberpark readies BPO building

Eastwood City Cyberpark will mark another milestone this year with the turnover of its 11th business process outsourcing (BPO) office in November.

The new tower, TechnoPlaza Two, lies along Orchard Road right across Eastwood Mall. It will have seven floors of office space and two floors of basement parking. With a gross floor area above 34,000 sqm, it brings the Cyberpark’s total office stock at the threshold of 300,000 sqm.

Retail areas on the ground floor plus a spacious supermarket, occupying more than 4,600 sqm, on the second floor will serve the shopping needs of the community.

An elevated bridgeway will link the two buildings so that locators’ employees can readily access Eastwood Mall’s many dining and shopping options.

With the building’s large floor plate, TechnoPlaza Two can accommodate up to about 4,000 new workers in total among its locators.

Locators to TechnoPlaza Two will enjoy high-tech features such as fiber optic cables, 100 percent power backup and ample telecommunication lines. Plus, they will join Eastwood City Cyberpark’s list of top global locators, which include IBM, Citibank, Stream, Dell and Accenture.

As PEZA’s first accredited IT park, it offers locators income tax holidays, duty-free importation of equipment, the opportunity to repatriate revenues to their parent companies abroad and the hiring of expatriates, among others.
