City life in nature setting

Have you wished that you could be in two places at once — immersed in the lush natural serenity of a tropical rainforest, for instance, but still connected to all that you love about being at home and in the city?
These days, global citizens yearn for a home where they can achieve a the city’s conveniences, you can then seek out the project’s amenities to see if they fit your lifestyle.”

Such advanced needs of today’s urban dweller are addressed in Century Properties’ latest residential development called Acqua Private Residences. As the project head and managing director of the real estate firm, Mr. Antonio was aware of these concerns and incorporated them into the masterplan and architecture of the 2.4-hectare, six-tower vertical village.

Acqua is located in Mandaluyong City and is accessible from Makati, via the newly-constructed Estrella-Pantaleon Bridge, that traverses the Pasig River and connects both cities. Through the bridge, travel time between the two cities is equivalent to a five-minute car ride or a 10-minute walk.

Mr. Antonio pointed out: “First, the location is one of the best as Acqua is situated at a point where two cities meet: Makati and Mandaluyong. This will give residents fast access to the great finds offered by the shopping mecca that is Mandaluyong City. And by just crossing the new bridge to the business district of Makati, Acqua residents can enjoy the Rockwell Center, more shopping destinations and the city’s nightlife scene.”

Century will also provide additional transportation to and from the Makati and Mandaluyong sides through a water shuttle that will be for the use of residents.

Acqua’s concept is centered on water as the bringer of life. The entire property is seen to be enveloped in lush greenery, rich foliage, open spaces and amenities that comprise two thirds of the development’s total land area.

Within The Pebble is a state-of-the-art total health, wellness, and fitness center, a 25-meter glass lap pool, a lagoon pool, a basketball court and juice bar.

The walking trails, pocket gardens across varying levels on all buildings and the rooftop parks complete with rock formations, treetop canopy, and ponds make a resident’s journey from his unit to any point in the entire development an adventure.

Acqua will also open a public space called The Riverwalk Promenade, a 10-meter wide and 300-meter long boardwalk that will showcase concept stores, shops, cafes and dining establishments.
